Mavhetha Lavhelesani has extensive geoscience experience in the mining and construction sectors, focused on quantitative and risk assessment interpretation for mineral exploration and geotechnical decision support.

He currently leads our technology strategy and our geotechnical business in general. Prior to founding Mutali Geoscience Solutions in 2021, he spent 5 years gaining invaluable field experience working for such companies as Mshandukani Holdings Pty (Ltd), Arise Projects and Trading (Pty) Ltd, and Murafho Consulting (Pty) Ltd.

He holds a Bachelor of Earth Sciences in Mining and Environmental Geology from the University of Venda.

Neduvhuledza Nduvho has 6 years of experience in the Geoscience industry and graduated top of his class at the university of Venda where he obtained an Honors Degree in Bachelor of Earth Sciences in Mining and Environmental Geology.

As a partial fulfilment of his honors degree, he completed a dissertation where he focused on the economic viability of phosphate tailings at the Foskor Selati Tailings Dam in 2017.

He was appointed as an Environmental Geologist and Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) at Mulondi SHEQ Solutions (Pty) Ltd in 2017 soon after completing his dissertation, and later by Rafuni (Pty) Ltd as Project Manager for the Vaal River Intervention project where he was eventually promoted to the post of Environmental and Engineering Geologist.

He is currently an Environmental and Engineering Geologist at Mutali Geoscience Solutions (Pty) Ltd where he started in 2021.

Peter Mashau brings 19 years of experience in Geoscience to our team. His immense background, expertise and knowledge that he brings from his previous role with African Pioneer Mining (Agnes Gold mine) in Barberton, Council for Geoscience (Geophysics Unit), MSA Geoservices, Geoactiv Consulting and Samancor, is a key asset in this role.

He obtained a National Diploma in Geology with Tshwane University of Technology in 2005, and later completed a B-Tech in Geology the following year.

He has worked as a professional Geologist assigned to various countries including Botswana, Angola and Congo.

He was appointed at Mutali Geoscience Solutions in 2021 and specializes in underground mapping, open cast mapping, managing underground and surface drilling, communicate geological data and recommendation to mine personnel, supervising underground sampling, ore body modelling using Minex software and grade control, acquire, interpret and presenting geological data on development stopes, mine maps and sections, logging and sampling of boreholes, updating cross sections, advising and recommending to rock engineer about geological structures that have potential to cause fall of ground, writing geological reports and monthly reports as well as attending mine planning meetings.
